This year, RE/MAX® Canada was an official partner of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Canada Game presented by Tangerine. The game was held at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on May 13 with over 19,000 fans in attendance to see the Chicago Sky go head-to-head with the Minnesota Lynx.

The sold out game brought together basketball fans from across Canada, keeping RE/MAX on consumers top of mind.

The RE/MAX Canada WNBA sponsorship included in-game signage, camera visible court-side rotational signage, preferred access to tickets, in-arena PA announcement highlighting the RE/MAX partnership, 2 x 15 second broadcast spots across all sports channels that broadcast the game in Canada, along with various activations at the game.

The RE/MAX activations consisted of an arcade basketball game, pop-a-shot, where over 4,000 fans participated and received RE/MAX branded thunder sticks and rally towels for their prize, and there was also a RE/MAX themed tic-tac-toe game played on the court where fans won a variety of prizes totaling $1,200.

We are proud that RE/MAX® Canada was a part of the first-ever WNBA game held in Canada and we look forward to continuing to find partnerships that celebrate and empower women and girls, as strongly as we do in the real estate industry.
