REMAX Canada is proud to announce that Garry Bhaura, Broker/Owner of REMAX President Realty in Brampton, ON, has been elected Chair of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) for the 2026-2027 term.

With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Bhaura has earned a reputation as a respected leader, dedicated professional and passionate advocate for agents and the communities they serve.

Bhaura brings extensive leadership experience to his new role, having served as the President of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) from 2018-2019. He has also contributed to numerous TRREB and CREA committees. His commitment to service has been recognized through a number of industry accolades, including the prestigious 2025 REMAX Canada Special Services Award.

As Chair of CREA, Bhaura will represent more than 155,000 real estate professionals while championing the interests of homeowners, buyers and sellers across Canada. He will play a crucial part in advancing CREA’s national advocacy efforts with policymakers and industry stakeholders.
